In the beginning of our adventures in ballooning we were chase crew for the pilot we went on our first flight with. We helped him both locally and also traveled out of town to festivals that featured hot air balloons.
Several months later Ursula had the thought “I want to fly a balloon” and began our journey of owning and operating a Balloon Ride Business.
Both of us completed our training and passed our exams to become licensed pilots. Because ballooning is a family friendly activity we were able to include our children on our adventures and in our travels.
Along the way we have made some lifelong friends, many aquaintances and have been so fortunate to share our love of flying with so many!
We have been a married team for 39 years, and a balloon team for 33 of those years. We hope that our love for each other and for the sport translates into an incredibly beautiful experience for each passenger!
